The Riverstone Mobile Inspection is a valuable vehicle inspection that comes in either a routine package, or a pre-purchase package. Whether you're looking to give your vehicle its annual checkup, or you want a detailed report on almost every vehicle system, we've got you covered.
Why are inspections so important?
The number one reason for costly auto repairs is small problems going unnoticed that snowball into larger and larger issues. Even if you aren't hard on your car, every vehicle experiences a high amount of wear and tear under normal operation. This will inevitably lead to problems, which can cause expensive and potentially life-threatening situations. A vehicle inspection is meant to catch these problems early, before they have the chance to put you or your car at risk.
How often should I have a routine inspection?
The frequency of your routine inspections depends on how often you drive, and how hard you drive. As a general rule, the average driver would be recommended to have an inspection at least once per year. From there, you can adjust accordingly.

ROUTINE INSPECTION INCLUDES:
Under Hood
We begin our Under Hood inspection by checking fluids: Engine Oil, Transmission Fluid, Power Steering Fluid, Coolant, Windshield Washer Fluid, Brake Fluid, & Clutch Fluid. We then move on to inspect the Air Filter, Battery/Terminals/Cables/Clamps, Drive Belt(s), Hoses, & the Radiator.
Under Vehicle
The Suspension/Steering components are thoroughly inspected, followed by the Exhaust system, the base of the Engine, the Transmission, the Transfer Case, & the Differential. All systems are checked for damage & leaks using a variety of professional inspection mirrors so your car never even needs to be lifted!
Brakes & Tires
The Brake Linings, Rotors, Lines/Hoses, & Calipers are checked, followed by the Tire Pressures, Tread Depths & Wear Patterns on all four tires. Note: Drum Brakes without inspection holes will be skipped.
Digital Diagnostic
Our Digital Diagnostic will talk directly to the Vehicle Control Unit(s) to do a final, thorough pass of all internal systems in your vehicle. This will check every sensor in your car & let us know if any internal faults are found.

Brakes & Tires

Exterior Lights
Paranoid about getting pulled over? Our Exterior light inspection tests for the correct operation of the Headlights, Turn Signals, Brake Lights, Hazard Lights, Daytime Running Lights, High Beams, Side Markers, Fog Lights, & Reverse Lights.
Road Test
Our Road Test checks for healthy Engine Startup, Engine Idle, Engine Acceleration, & Engine Sound. We also test for proper operation of the Brakes, Parking Brakes, Clutch, Transmission, Suspension/Steering, & Gauges.
Digital Diagnostic
Our Digital Diagnostic will talk directly to the Vehicle Control Unit(s) to do a final, thorough pass of all internal systems in your vehicle. This will check every sensor in your car & let us know if any internal faults are found.
If the inspection of any of the items above requires the use of special tools or equipment, it will be marked as 'Not Accessible'. Due to the nature of mobile inspections, we're limited on tools and equipment. If any items are skipped during your inspection, your technician will let you know and offer advice.
